Throughout a document’s lifecycle in GetAccept, different statuses help you track its progress. Below is an overview of what each status means and what actions (if any) might be needed.
Document Statuses in GetAccept

Sealed
The document is finalized before sending.
If “Share document link” was chosen, the status remains Sealed until opened.
Verified
Seen in the Detailed Event Log before “Signed” when a verification method was used.
Examples: Handwritten signature or eID verification.
Signed
The document has been digitally signed by all signers.
Added
A status displayed next to recipient(s) when the sender shares the document link.
Waiting
Seen next to recipient(s) in a signing order.
This occurs when a signing order is in place, and the document is waiting for the next signer.
If stuck in Waiting and not progressing, please contact support.
Important Notes on Tracking & Privacy
If a signing order is set, and the last recipient only has viewing rights, the status remains Waiting because tracking stops after the last required signer.
The document will still be sent, but its status will not update beyond Signed for privacy reasons.
