Introduction
The Convert Non-Signable to Signable feature allows you to transform a previously shared non-signable document, such as a Deal Room proposal, into a signable document without needing to create or send a new one. This guide will walk you through the process, key settings, and considerations when enabling signing for your document.

This feature is especially useful when:
You’ve already shared a document for review or collaboration and now need to collect signatures.
Agreements have been reached, and transitioning to a signable format saves time and effort.
How to Convert a Non-Signable Document to Signable
Step 1: Open the Document
Navigate to the Document in your GetAccept account.
Locate the shared non-signable document you wish to convert.
Step 2: Review Recipient Activity
Step 3: Enable Signing
Step 4: Update Recipient Roles
Assign roles to recipients:
Step 5: Edit Recipient Details (Optional)
Click on the Edit pen icon
Edit recipient details, such as:
Configure specific signing methods for each recipient if required.
Step 6: Update Document Settings
Step 7: Preview Recipient Email
Step 8: Send the Document for Signing
Click Apply changes and send the updated document for signing.
Recipients will receive an automated email with the signing link.
Step 9: Sign the Document (Optional)
As the sender, you can preview and sign the document yourself.
Once signed, the timeline will update to reflect the signing status:
Signing enabled
Forwarded to recipients
Signed and sealed.

Recipient Links: While emails are sent automatically, copying a direct link to the document for recipients is a feature currently under development.
Recipient Emails: Ensure that recipient email addresses are valid to avoid hard-bounce issues.
