How to import your contact list into GetAccept and How to bulk download your contacts

Updated this week

Under the Contacts tab, you can create the contacts that you, later on, want to use during your send-out process. You can read more about how to get started with contacts here. You are also able to export the existing contacts by marking which documents you want to download.

At the bottom of this article, you can download an example file to get started.

Bulk upload

If you have a lot of contacts in some external system or perhaps in a Google sheet, you can easily choose to upload your entire contact list through a simple CSV upload.

To map the fields on the Contacts, we recommend that you structure your CSV file using the following columns:

  • firstName*

  • lastName*

  • companyName

  • companyNumber

  • title

  • phone

  • mobile*

  • email*

  • thumbUrl

  • note

Please note:

  • That only the fields marked with a * are mandatory so you do not have to fill in all fields if they don't apply.

  • The * should not be added to the column.

  • The format should look like this:

Also be aware that the format of the name in the columns needs to be in the format listed above, eg firstName instead of firstname or FirstName. Only the format listed above is supported. You also need to use a , as separator.

When you are done with your file, you need to save it in the format

Comma Separated Values (.csv)

How to import your contact list into GetAccept

  • In GetAccept, start by navigating to Contacts from the left side menu and click on Import contacts. You can find this in the top right corner.

  • You will then be able to upload your CSV file directly into Get Accept. Please note there is a maximum size limit of 1 MB per upload.

  • You will receive a confirmation once the upload has been completed and the contacts are imported and ready to use in a sendout. Please note you may have to refresh the page to see the new contacts being added.

  • They will be shown under tab Inactive, once a contact has received a document, they will be shown under tab Active.

How to bulk download

If you have created a lot of contacts in Get Accept that you later want to download and perhaps upload in a separate entity, you can do this easily from the Contacts tab.

  • Navigate to Contacts on the left-hand side menu, you will here see all your existing contacts in GetAccept.

  • Use the checkboxes next to the wished contacts you want to download, mark the selected once and there will be a menu appearing at the bottom of the screen.

  • Click on download and your contacts will now be exported in a CSV file on your device.
