Under the Contacts tab, you can create the contacts that you later want to use during your send-out process. You can read more about how to get started with contacts [here]. You are also able to export existing contacts by marking which ones you want to download.
At the bottom of this article, you can download an example file to get started.
Bulk Upload
If you have a lot of contacts stored in an external system or perhaps in a Google Sheet, you can easily upload your entire contact list into GetAccept through a simple CSV import.
Preparing your CSV file
To map the fields correctly, we recommend structuring your CSV file with the following column titles (case-sensitive):
firstName
*lastName
*companyName
companyNumber
title
phone
mobile
*email
*thumbUrl
note
Important:
Only the fields marked with * are mandatory.
Do not include the
*
in the column title when uploading.Column names must exactly match the format above (e.g.,
firstName
, notfirstname
orFirstName
).Use a comma ( , ) as the separator.
Save the file in Comma Separated Values (.csv) format.
Duplicate rules (very important)
You cannot upload multiple contacts with the same email or same mobile number.
If even one contact in your CSV file already exists in your account, the entire upload will fail.
To avoid issues: double-check for duplicates before uploading.
Uploading your file
In GetAccept, navigate to Contacts from the left-hand menu.
Click Import contacts in the top right corner.
Upload your CSV file (max file size: 1 MB).
Once the upload is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation.
Refresh the page to see your new contacts.
Imported contacts will first appear under the Inactive tab. Once a contact receives a document, they will move to the Active tab.
Bulk Download
If you’ve created a lot of contacts in GetAccept that you’d like to export (for backup or import into another entity), you can easily download them.
Download selected contacts
Navigate to Contacts in the left-hand menu.
Use the checkboxes to select the contacts you want to download.
A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Click Download and a CSV file will be saved to your device.
Download all contacts via Reports
Go to the Reports page in the left-hand menu.
Choose Export data → Contacts.
Select whether you want to export all contacts in the entity or just your own, and define the timeframe.
Click Export data.
Done — your contact file will download.
Summary
Use a properly formatted CSV file (with exact column names, no
*
).No duplicate emails or mobile numbers are allowed.
No contacts in the file can already exist in your account — otherwise, the entire upload will fail.
You can bulk download contacts either from the Contacts tab (select specific ones) or from Reports (export all).
