Adding a text input to your editor block

How to add the text input element

  1. Click on the blue [ + ] symbol

  2. Choose Text input from the list

When you click on either Add label or Add an optional text you will be presented with a formatting bar, allowing you different options to customize your text input element.

Please note: Add label is mandatory to add when choosing this element.

When you choose to add an optional text, an option to add a link to a URL will also be presented.

How to assign the field to either the sender or recipient

  1. Click on the text field

  2. Choose the Connect field to symbol.

How to mark a field as required

  1. Click on the symbol left to the connect field to symbol

  2. The default will always be that the required field is ON

  3. Click on the toggle to turn it OFF/ON

Introducing drag and drop

By adding drag and drop functionality, working with form elements is now as intuitive and easy as you’d expect it to be.

Simply add your fields, click the “rearrange” button, and move them according to your desired layout.

How to add a merge tag to your field

They can also be automatically filled with data if set up with merge tags from GetAccept or your CRM, such as Salesforce or Hubspot.

  1. Click on the { } symbol to access dynamic tags

  2. The first options (Document, Sender, Entity, Recipient) are the dynamic tags you can use to fetch data from within GetAccept. Read more about it here.

  3. To fetch data from the integration, choose Custom merge tag. Read more about it here.

How to adjust the size of the element

You can also drag the field, and add other form elements to the same editor block.

  • Click and drag the outline of the element to the right to adjust the size, and click on the + symbol to add more.
