Manage Documents on the Mobile App

Find, preview, and manage your sent documents on the GetAccept mobile app.

Manage Documents on the Mobile App

The GetAccept mobile app lets you manage your sent documents from anywhere. You can filter by status, search for specific documents, preview content, send reminders, update expiration dates, and take other actions , all from your phone or tablet.

Note: Mobile app document management requires the same permissions as web access to view or edit documents.

Access Your Documents on Mobile

Open the GetAccept mobile app and tap the **Documents** tab at the bottom of the screen. This shows your full document library organized by status.

Pro-tip: Use the search feature to quickly locate specific documents instead of scrolling through your entire library.

You can filter, search, and manage documents directly from this view.

Filter Documents by Status

To filter documents by status, tap the filter icon at the top of the Documents tab. GetAccept organizes documents into six status categories:

  • Draft , Documents you're still preparing; not yet sent to recipients

  • Sent , Documents delivered to recipients but not yet opened

  • Reviewed , Documents recipients have opened but not yet signed

  • Signed , Documents all required signers have completed

  • Expired , Documents past their expiration date

  • Deleted , Documents you've removed from your active list

Select one or more statuses to filter your view. The app displays only documents matching your selection, making it easier to focus on specific workflows.

Search for Documents by Name or Recipient

To find a specific document quickly, tap the search icon at the top of the Documents tab. Type the document name, recipient name, or recipient email address. The app filters results in real time as you type, showing matching documents instantly.

Preview a Sent Document

Before sharing a document link or taking action on a sent document, you can preview its content on mobile. Tap the document from your list to open the preview. Swipe through pages to review text, images, pricing tables, and form fields. This lets you confirm the document content is correct before sending reminders or sharing links with recipients.

View Document Details

While previewing a document, tap the **Details** button to see metadata including the document name, recipient list, send date, expiration date, and current status. Details view gives you a quick snapshot of the document's key information without leaving the preview.

Send Reminders from Mobile

If a recipient hasn't opened or signed your document, you can send a reminder directly from the mobile app. Open the document and tap the action menu (three dots icon). Select **Send Reminder** and choose your delivery method:

  • Email reminder , Sends an email notification to the recipient with a link to the document

  • SMS reminder , Sends a text message reminder (recipient must have a phone number on file)

  • Video reminder , Records a short video message and sends it to the recipient via email

Each reminder type appears as a separate action in the menu, so you can choose the best approach for your recipient.

Update the Expiration Date on Mobile

You can extend or adjust a document's expiration date directly from the mobile app without creating a new version. Open the document, tap the action menu (three dots), and select **Update Expiration Date**. Choose a new date and confirm. The updated expiration date applies immediately, and the document remains at the same URL , recipients see the new deadline the next time they access it.

Create a New Version

If you need to make changes to a sent document and require a fresh signature, you can create a new version from mobile. Open the document, tap the action menu, and select **Create New Version**. This generates a separate send-out with a new link and signature flow, while keeping your original document in your archive. New versions are useful when substantial changes require all parties to sign again.

Mark a Document as Lost

When a deal doesn't close or you want to remove a document from your active pipeline, mark it as lost. Open the document, tap the action menu, and select **Mark as Lost**. Lost documents are removed from your active list and moved to a separate category. Marking a document as lost is permanent , the document cannot be restored to active status.

Delete a Document from Mobile

To delete a document, open it and tap the action menu (three dots). Select **Delete**. Deleted documents are soft-deleted , they move to your Deleted folder but are not permanently removed. You can recover deleted documents from the Deleted tab within a certain time frame. If you delete a document a second time from the Deleted folder, it is permanently removed.

Add an Intro Video to a Document

You can record a personalized intro video directly from the mobile app to accompany a document. Open the document, tap the action menu, and select **Add Intro Video**. The app launches your device's camera. Record a short greeting or introduction (typically 15,30 seconds works best). Once recorded, the video appears when recipients open the document, giving them a personal connection before they review the content.

Share a Document Link from Mobile

To share a document link with someone, open the document and tap the **Share** button. The app generates a shareable link that you can copy to your clipboard or send directly via email, SMS, messaging apps, or any other channel. Recipients who tap the shared link can access the document without needing to log in , they simply enter their name to view.

Document Action Menu Overview

The action menu (three dots icon) on any document provides quick access to the most common mobile tasks. Swipe left on a document in your list to reveal a quick-action menu, or open the document and tap the three-dot icon to see the full menu. Actions include: Preview, Details, Send Reminder (Email/SMS/Video), Update Expiration Date, Create New Version, Mark as Lost, Add Intro Video, Share Link, and Delete.
