How to Use the Introduction Section in Your Deal Room

The Introduction Section (previously known as the Hero section) is an engaging way to personalize your Deal Room, creating a powerful first impression for your customers and accelerating time-to-value. Quickly customize, brand, and personalize your Deal Room to make your interactions more effective and visually appealing.

How to Enable and Customize the Introduction Section (Admins)

Step 1: Enable the Introduction Section

  1. Go to ContentTemplates in GetAccept.

  2. Select your template and click Edit to open the GetAccept Editor.

  3. Toggle Enable Introduction Section in the template settings up in the right corner.

Step-by-Step Customization Guide

Customize the Background

You can choose to have:

  • Solid Color Background

  • Custom Background Image



Select a Layout

Choose one of the following layouts:

  • Text + Media (with text either on the left or right)

  • Text Only

  • Media Only



Media Options

When using media, you have multiple options:

  • Static Images: Transparent PNGs blend seamlessly with your background.

  • GIFs: Animated, transparent GIFs capture attention effectively.

  • Videos: Upload a marketing video or record a custom introduction directly within GetAccept.

Transparent images or GIFs integrate seamlessly, providing a polished and professional look.



Add Default Welcome Text & Personalization

  • Clearly communicate your core message in the default text.

  • Utilize internal merge tags (e.g., Company Name) to automatically personalize content for each recipient.

  • Adjust the text color to ensure readability and visual harmony with the chosen background.

  • Hide white background in the text element

  • Use transparent imagery (PNG or GIF) to blend content seamlessly into your background.

  • Choose colors and themes consistent with customer expectations and brand identity.

  • Adjust text colors within the Introduction Section for optimal readability and visual appeal.




How Sales Reps Use the Introduction Section

When creating a Deal Room from a template, sales reps can further personalize it by:

  • Click on Upload buyer logotype and add the buyer’s company logo.

Make "Your team" visible in the Sales team widget

  • Add collaborators to the document in the first step creating the room or within the room "Invite" up in the right corner.

  • Press the "Customize team widget" link that shows.

  • Toggle on the collaborators you'd want to display.
