How to Enable and Customize the Introduction Section
1. Enable the Introduction Section
Admins can turn the feature on for rooms created from templates.
Open Settings → Functionality.
Toggle Introduction section ON.
The section appears at the top of every new Deal Room using that template.
2. Customize the Background
Choose a background style that matches your narrative.
Solid Color
Pick a clean, simple background to highlight your message or creatives.
Custom Image
Upload a branded image, gradient, or abstract pattern for stronger visual impact.
3. Choose a Layout
Select a structure that suits your content:
Text + Media (left or right aligned)
Text Only
Media Only
Layouts adapt automatically to different devices.
4. Media Options
Add elements that reinforce your message:
Static Images
Use transparent PNGs for a polished, blended look.
GIFs
Add motion and visual interest with subtle animations.
Videos
Upload a marketing video or record a personal introduction directly inside the platform.
Transparent PNGs and GIFs blend seamlessly into backgrounds for a professional, modern appearance.
5. Add Welcome Text & Personalization
Use the text area to communicate purpose and expectations.
Best practices:
Add a clear welcome message.
Use personalization tags like {{Company Name}} or {{First Name}}.
Adjust text color for readability and brand alignment.
Hide the white background of the text block if using a custom image.
Keep the message short and value-focused.
How Sales Reps Use the Introduction Section
When creating or customizing a Deal Room, sales reps can further personalize the experience:
Add the Buyer’s Logo
Go to Settings → Company and either:
Search for the company logo, or
Upload a buyer logotype manually.
The logo automatically displays in the Introduction Section.
Show Your Team
Click Invite in the top right.
Select Customize team widget.
Toggle on the collaborators you want visible to the buyer.
Your team appears next to the welcome text, helping humanize the experience and build trust early.
