Create a new template. Create and edit a Google Docs template. Upload file, use the editor, use a template, link, video and Google Drive

A template is very handy to have when you need to send out a document to different people or send the same document several times etc.

How to Create a Template in the Content Library

  1. Click on Content on the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on Create Content in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Select Template and name it (the name can be changed later).

  4. Then choose if you like to upload a document from your computer, create one in our Editor, upload one from Google Drive, or use an existing template.

How to create a Google doc from a PDF file within your Google Drive

Once you have connected to Google Docs and have your GetAccept > Documents and Templates folders in your Drive, after that you can create templates using the Google docs documents in that folder.

  1. Click on the New button in the top left

  2. Choose File Upload

  3. Choose the file you want to upload

  4. Once it has been uploaded, right-click on the file

  5. Choose Open with Google Docs

  6. This will convert your original file into a Google Doc

Now that you have your Google Doc in your Templates folder, you can delete the document that you originally uploaded.

How to import a Google Docs Template from your Google Drive

  1. Go to your Content Library

  2. Click on the Google Drive symbol in the upper right corner within your library

Now you can either inline edit your Google Docs template or finish creating your template by adding fields, attachments, or a video as you normally would.

Please note! You need to have access to the template folder in your Google Drive to be able to add documents and sync them to your content library.

If you do not have access;

Google will prompt you to request access to the admin who has set up the Google Docs integration, once access is requested and granted you can proceed with the below steps.

How to edit a Google Docs Template

  1. Go to your Content Library

  2. Open your Google Docs Template

  3. To begin editing, click on the Google sync button above the first page of the template

  4. A new window will open and you can start editing your template

  5. This editor is almost identical to the one you experience in the Google Docs editor provided by Google. Make the changes you would like to see made to your template in the window that will appear.

  6. You can also choose to open in a new tab and it will redirect you to your Google Drive.

  7. Once you are done with your update, simply click on the Save button in your GetAccept window in the bottom right corner.

Adding content to a template

Upload a file

Here you can upload a file from your computer.

  • Either click and drag your document into the Upload a file box

  • Or click on Upload a file to access your device's files.

Once you've uploaded your document, you can start adding fields, supplemental files, or URLs to your template.

GetAccept supports uploading almost any kind of file, including the most common file formats.

Editor

Here you can create a new Editor block or use an existing one from the Editor library.

When you have added a new Editor block there are different elements you can create, such as Text, Images, or our Pricing tables and Forms.

Use templates

You can use a GetAccept template that you have created under the Content Library tab in the left main menu.

  • To use a template, click on the Use Template option and choose the one you would like to send to your recipients.

Once your document is fully uploaded, you can rename it, tag it, or add a deal value to it (if it's a sales document). You can then add your recipient(s).

Video

Here you can record, add a video from your content library, link a URL or upload a video to add a video block.

Recommended file types: MOV, AVI, MP4 - Max. file size 124 MB

Link

Add a new Link block or choose one from your content library.

A Link block can be used when for example you want to add information and be able to add a connection to your webpage.

Google Drive

Add a document from your Google Drive Account.
