Walk through of the steps required to set up Single Sign On with a third party Identity provider.

Updated over a week ago

This guide walks through the steps required to set up Single Sign On for Salesforce using a third party identity provider. Once completed, your users should have the ability to log in to the GetAccept integration in Salesforce by authenticating via the third party identity provider.

Step 1: Set up your third party identity provider with GetAccept

If you have not done so already, you need to first set up your identity provider with GetAccept. We have a few examples for different providers on how that process works. They can be found here:

Step 2: Enable SSO in setup section

1. In Salesforce, navigate to App launcher | GetAccept Admin | Setup | Basic settings.

2. On this page you will find the SSO Settings section near the bottom of this page. Add entity id to the SSO entity ID section and enable SSO.

3. Optionally enforce SSO so one can only log in as that user.
