How to Use the Divider Element

Summary of the Divider Element within the Editor

Updated this week

The Divider Element in GetAccept allows you to visually separate different sections of your document, enhancing readability and organization. This is especially useful for structuring content like proposals, quotes, or contracts where clear divisions between sections are necessary.

Steps to Add the Divider Element

  1. Open the Editor Block: Navigate to the location where you want to insert the divider.

  2. Click the Blue [ + ] Symbol: This opens the list of available elements.

  3. Select "Divider": From the dropdown list, choose the Divider option to insert it into your document.

Customizing the Divider

After adding the divider, the Formatting Bar will appear, providing several customization options:

  1. Divider Types:

    • Thin: A sleek and minimal line.

    • Thick: A bold line for more emphasis.

    • Dashed: A dashed line for a more informal or design-heavy look.

    • White Space: Adds spacing without a visible line, creating a separation using padding.

  2. Padding Thickness:

    • Adjust the padding around the divider to increase or decrease the space between the divider and the surrounding content. This is useful for controlling the visual flow of your document.

  3. Transparency:

    • Make the divider transparent to create a subtle separation between sections without a visible line.

  4. Move the Divider:

    • Use the arrow icons to move the divider up or down between other content elements within the editor.

  5. Delete the Divider:

    • If you no longer need the divider, click the Trash icon to delete it from your document.
