The Image & Text Element in GetAccept allows you to display an image alongside text in the same row. This feature is great for creating a structured layout where you want to combine visuals with descriptive text, such as product images with explanations or photos with captions.


Steps to Add the Image & Text Element

  1. Open the Editor Block: Navigate to the location where you want to add the image and text element.

  2. Click the Blue [ + ] Symbol: This will open a list of available elements.

  3. Select "Image & Text": From the dropdown menu, click on Image & Text to insert it into your document.


How to Use the Image & Text Element

Once the Image & Text element is added to your document, you can upload or select an image and add descriptive text next to it. This element allows you to combine visuals and text in a clean, side-by-side layout.

Add an Image: Click on the image box to upload an image from your computer, select one from the image library, or insert an image using a URL.


Add Text: The text box next to the image works like a standard text block. Start typing to describe the image or add any relevant information.


Resize Image and Text: Use the divider line between the image and text to resize them. Simply click and drag the line left or right to adjust the size of each section.


Customizing the Image & Text Layout

After adding the Image & Text element, a Formatting Bar will appear with the following options:



Flip the Image and Text:

  • You can switch the position of the image and text by clicking the Flip icon (stacked arrows). This allows you to choose whether the image should appear on the left or right side of the text.

Move the Element:

  • Reorder the Image & Text element by using the Move tool to position it above or below other content in the document.

Lock the Element:

  • Use the Lock icon to lock the element, preventing further edits by other users.

Delete the Element:

  • Click the Trash icon to remove the Image & Text element from your document if it's no longer needed.



Best Practices for Using the Image & Text Element

  • Highlight Products and Services: Use this element to display product images next to detailed descriptions or pricing information. This is useful for showcasing features or comparing products side-by-side.

  • Combine Visuals with Explanations: Pair an image with a brief explanation to improve clarity and make your content more engaging.

  • Adjust Layout for Balance: Use the divider line to balance the size of the image and text, ensuring the layout looks visually appealing and doesn’t overwhelm the reader.
