Overview of Content Library for Contracts folders
The Content Library for Contracts uses a folder hierarchy to help you organize your contract document Content Resources. You can see your folders and their contents at the top of the main view.
Navigate folders: Click any folder icon or name to view the contract templates and resources saved within that category.
Sort and Filter: Use the controls to filter by contract resource type (Templates, Editors, Videos, or Links) or sort by name, created date, or last updated.
Create and organize contract content
Creating content within the library allows you to build a repository of reusable contract Content Resources for your team.
Click Create Content in the top right corner.
Select the type of contract content you want to create, such as a Template, Editor block, Link, Video, or Folder.
To manage existing contract folders, click the three dots (...) next to the folder name to edit, delete or move the object.
Publish or unpublish templates and resources
Every template and resource in your Content Library has a status: Published or Unpublished.
Published items appear in the Content Library and are available to everyone in the create-contract flow.
Unpublished items are visible only to admins. They do not appear in the Content Library for users, or when someone selects a template to create a contract.
Newly created templates and resources are Unpublished by default. Publish an item when it is ready for your team to use, and switch it back to Unpublished at any time to take it out of circulation without deleting it.
Delete templates and resources
When you delete a template or resource, it is not removed immediately. It moves to the Deleted tab, where you can restore it to the Content Library, delete it permanently, or leave it, in which case it is removed automatically after 30 days. You can delete items individually or in bulk.
Deleting a resource does not break any contract that already uses it; the resource simply cannot be added to new contracts going forward. As with edits, changes only affect future contracts. Documents you have already sent remain unchanged.
Use Resources for reusable contract content
A resource is a reusable piece of contract content, such as a company bio or a customer case, that you can add to multiple contract templates.
Create a Resource: You must create resources directly within the Content Library view to make them reusable across different contracts. Content created "on the fly" within a new contract document is saved as a Block and is not automatically reusable.
Cascade Updates: Updating or deleting a contract resource in the library will automatically apply those changes to every contract template where that resource is used.
Check Usage: Before you delete or edit a contract resource, GetAccept will notify you if it is currently part of any active contract templates so you can confirm the action.
Note: Changes made to contract resources will only affect future contracts. Any contract documents you have already sent will remain unchanged.
Find and use templates from the Template Library
The Template Library offers pre-designed contract and proposal templates that you can personalize for your brand.
Go to Content and click Template Library.
Choose a contract template and select Preview template to see the layout.
Click Save Template to add it to your own Content Library as a reusable contract resource.
Alternatively, click the three dots (...) on a template and select Start sendout to create a single contract document without saving the template to your library.
Perform bulk actions on contract resources
If you need to move or delete several contract resources at once, use the multi-select tool.
