The Icon element in the Editor lets you add clean, visual sections to your Deal Rooms without spending time on custom formatting. With the Icon element, you can quickly highlight product benefits, explain a process, or show feature comparisons in a structured, scannable layout. This article is for anyone building Deal Rooms in GetAccept, including enablement and content managers, sales reps, and sales managers.
What the Icon element does
The Icon element is a purpose-built layout block in the Deal Room Editor. It gives you a ready-made visual structure so you can present information in a clear, consistent way across your rooms. You can:
Choose between 1 to 4 columns, or a single-row layout.
Select suitable icons for each column.
Create clean, consistent visual sections without custom formatting.
Common use cases include highlighting product benefits, explaining a process or rollout steps, and showing feature comparisons or value pillars.
How to use the Icon element
You can add the Icon element to any Deal Room in the Editor. Open the Deal Room you want to edit, add the Icon element where you want the icon layout to appear, choose the number of columns (1 to 4) or the single-row layout, and pick an icon for each column. Add your supporting text to complete the section.
Pro-tip: Use the Icon element to break up long text blocks. Buyers tend to scan Deal Rooms rather than read them in full, so visual sections help your key points stand out.
Limitations
You can choose between 1 and 4 columns.
You cannot replace icons with images in this element. If you want to pair images with text, use the columns layout instead.
