Add and edit images in the Editor

Use the Image element to upload visuals, crop images, and customize layouts within your GetAccept Deal Rooms and contracts.

How to use the Image element

The Image element allows you to add visuals anywhere the GetAccept Editor is available. You can use this element to provide visual context for your recipients and professionalize your template. You can also crop, reposition, and preview image edits directly in the Editor without switching to external tools.

  1. Open the Editor in your template, document, or Deal Room.

  2. Click the plus (+) icon in the center of your content area to add a new element.

  3. Select the Image icon from the element menu.

  4. Click Add image

  5. Upload a file from your computer, select a stock image, or paste an image URL to populate the block.

Format your images

After you add an image, use the formatting toolbar to adjust how the visual appears to your recipients.

  • Change size: Choose between original, half-width, full-width, or cover styles to fit your template.

  • Adjust alignment: Set your image to the left, center, or right of the page.

  • Add links: Click the link icon to turn your image into a clickable button for external pages.

  • Add captions: Use captions to provide extra context or image credits directly under the visual.

Crop and reposition images

You can fix the framing of your images directly within the GetAccept Editor without using external software. As you crop or reposition, you'll see a live preview of your changes so you can fine-tune the result before saving.

  1. Select the image you want to change.

  2. Click the Crop tool in the floating menu.

  3. Drag the corners to focus on a specific area or move the image within the frame.

  4. Press Enter or click outside the frame to apply your changes. To discard your edits, press Esc to cancel.

Once you save, the new version of your image replaces the previous one in the Editor.

Note: The editor does not currently support image rotation or visual filters. If you need to rotate a image, please do so on your computer before uploading it to GetAccept.

Choose Landscape or Portrait in Columns layouts

When you use a Columns layout with the Image only or Image and text option, you can pick a display preset that matches the orientation of your image:

  • Landscape - optimized for wide images.

  • Portrait - optimized for tall images.

The Portrait and Landscape presets are not available when the Text only option is selected. Choosing the right preset helps your visuals look balanced and consistent across deals and templates. Learn more about Columns layout in the Editor.
