Overview
The Image & Text element allows you to place an image and text side by side in the GetAccept Editor. It is available wherever the Editor is used, including Contracts, Deal Rooms, and templates.
This element is commonly used to combine visuals with explanatory or descriptive text in a structured layout.
What you can do with the Image & Text element
With the Image & Text element, you can:
Display an image and text in the same row
Upload images or insert them from a URL or stock library
Edit and format text alongside the image
Resize the image and text areas
Flip the position of the image and text
Lock, move, or delete the element
Image behavior in Image & Text
Images used in the Image & Text element support the same image editing behavior as other images in the editor.
This includes:
Cropping images to focus on specific areas
Repositioning images within a fixed frame
Previewing changes in real time before saving
You can see a live preview as you crop or reposition the content, allowing you to fine-tune your changes before saving. When you're finished, press Enter or click outside the frame to apply the changes. To discard your edits, press Esc to cancel.
Once you save your changes, the new version of your image replaces the previous one in the editor.
Pro-tip: Keeping image editing inside GetAccept saves time, maintains visual consistency, and reduces the need to switch to external tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Resizing and layout control
You can adjust the layout by dragging the divider between the image and text.
This helps keep the layout visually balanced and suited to your content.
Landscape and Portrait presets
When using a Columns layout with the Image & Text element, you can choose between two display presets to match the orientation of your image:
Landscape - optimized for wide images
Portrait - optimized for tall (vertical) images
The Portrait preset is available only when the Image only or Image and text layouts are selected, and does not appear when Text only is selected.
Managing the element
The Image & Text element can be moved, locked, or deleted at any time as your content changes.
