Introduction
GetAccept’s Deal Room and Contract data now syncs in real time into Microsoft Dynamics via custom objects.
Every time someone views, interacts with, or signs a document or Deal Room, that information is stored in MSD and continuously updated, giving you a crystal-clear picture of buyer behavior right inside your Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and unlocking powerful workflows, more accurate reporting, and enhanced use of Microsoft Copilot (which now has access to GetAccept’s rich buyer engagement data).
Setup
To enable our custom objects in Microsoft Dynamics you simply have to update the integration to the latest package 2.16 and ensure GetAccept is connected to MSD. Follow the installation/upgrade process as shown here and the connection steps shown below.
Connect GetAccept to Microsoft Dynamics
Only GetAccept Enterprise customers have access to this capability.
You need to have installed the GetAccept integration (Details here) and to connect GetAccept to Microsoft Dynamics. Steps for connecting GetAccept to MSD below.
What data is synced to Dynamics
Once connected, GetAccept pushes the following buyer engagement data to your custom Dynamics entities in real time:
Document views: when a Recipient opens a document and how long they spend on each page.
Deal Room activity: which pages Participants visit, time spent per section, and overall engagement.
Comments and chat messages: inline comments and chat conversations within Deal Rooms and Contracts.
Signing events: when a document is signed, by whom, and the signing method used.
Inactivity signals: when a Recipient or Participant has not engaged for a defined period.
Map GetAccept data to custom Dynamics entities
After enabling the integration, you configure which GetAccept data maps to which custom entity fields in Dynamics.
Go to Settings > Integrations > Microsoft Dynamics settings in GetAccept.
Open the Custom Object Sync section.
Select the custom Dynamics entity you want to map data to.
Map GetAccept fields (e.g., document views, time spent, signing status) to fields in your custom entity.
Click Save.
Note: Custom object mapping requires a Dynamics admin. The specific fields and entity structures need to be mapped manually. Standard Dynamics permissions for writing to custom entities apply.
Use GetAccept data with Microsoft Copilot and Power BI
Once GetAccept data flows into custom Dynamics entities, it becomes available to Microsoft Copilot and Power BI like any other Dynamics data.
Microsoft Copilot: Ask questions like "Which deals have had no buyer engagement this week?" or "Who is the most active decision-maker in this account?" Copilot uses the GetAccept engagement data to give answers based on real buyer behavior, not just CRM field updates.
Power BI: Build dashboards that include buyer intent data from GetAccept. Track document engagement trends, Deal Room activity by account, and signing velocity across your pipeline.
