Add Products to a Pricing Table

Explains how product rows are added, edited, and calculated inside pricing tables.

Updated yesterday

You can build a pricing table by adding products or services manually or by inserting items from your Product Library. Each product appears as a row with editable pricing fields.

What a product row is

A product row represents a single product or service inside a pricing table or Pricing Group. Each row includes editable fields for:

  • Product name

  • Price

  • Units

  • Amount

The Amount is calculated automatically when automatic calculation is enabled.

Adding products manually

Products can be added directly inside a pricing table or inside a Pricing Group.

Manual products are fully editable and are not linked to the Product Library.

You can add a short description under the product name to provide additional context.

Adding products from the Product Library

Products from the Product Library are pre-filled with saved names, prices, and properties.

After adding a product from the library, you can still edit:

  • Units

  • Descriptions

  • Amount values

Editing these fields does not change the original product in the Product Library.

Editing product details

Each product row can be edited directly inside the table.

You can change:

  • Product name text

  • Price values

  • Units or quantities

  • Descriptions below the product name

If automatic calculation is enabled, the Amount updates based on Price and Units.

Columns in pricing tables

Pricing tables include default columns such as Name, Price, Units, and Amount.

Columns can be renamed, reordered, hidden, or included in summary calculations.

Additional columns can be added to capture extra product information.

Pricing calculations and summaries

Pricing totals update automatically when automatic calculation is enabled.

Pricing tables display:

  • Pricing Group summaries for each group

  • A Pricing Summary for the entire table

Only visible pricing and enabled summaries are included in the final total.

Recipient experience

Recipients can view product rows and pricing details but cannot edit products, quantities, or prices.

All pricing tables are read-only for recipients.

Best practices

Use the Product Library for standardized pricing and naming.

Add manual products for one-off services or custom line items.

Keep product names clear and concise to avoid confusion during review.
