Pricing Groups in Pricing Tables

Organize products or services into categories such as software, implementation, or support. Manage visibility and subtotals per group.

Updated this week

Pricing Groups help you structure your pricing into clear sections, making it easier for recipients to understand your quote or proposal.
Each group has its own subtotal, visibility settings, and optional tax and discount values — perfect for proposals with multiple products or service types.

Step 1: Add a new Pricing Group

  1. Click inside your Pricing Table in the Editor.

  2. At the bottom of the table, click + Add New.

  3. Choose Pricing Group from the dropdown menu.

  4. Give your group a name that clearly represents its contents — for example, Software Licenses, Implementation Services, or Support Plan.

Each group acts as a section inside your table, with its own subtotal and pricing logic.

Step 2: Add products to your group

You can fill each Pricing Group with products or services that belong together.

Options:

  • Add manually: Click + Add New inside the group and enter product details such as name, description, quantity, and price.

  • From Product Library: Select From Product Library to add items from your company’s catalog.

Step 3: Adjust group visibility

You can control what information is visible for each Pricing Group.

  1. Hover over the group name (for example, Subscription or Add-ons).

  2. Open the Formatting Bar at the top of the group.

  3. Click the formatting bar and select Show/hide pricing group items.

  4. Use the toggles to enable or disable items such as:

    • Discount – Show or hide discounts for this group.

    • Pricing group summary – Show or hide the subtotal section at the bottom of the group.

You can also expand Columns to show or hide product columns like:

These settings only affect the selected group — perfect for simplifying complex proposals or hiding internal details.

Step 4: Reorder groups

  • Reorder: Move groups up or down within your table.

Step 5: Review subtotals and totals

Each group displays a subtotal at the bottom, and all groups combine into the Pricing Summary at the end of your table.

You can show or hide these values from the Show/hide pricing summary items menu in your Pricing Table Settings.

Best practice

Use clear, simple group names to help recipients understand your structure.
For example, split your proposal into:

  • Software Licenses

  • Implementation Services

  • Annual Support

This improves readability and professionalism, especially in long or detailed quotes.
