Sales discussions can contain sensitive info. Ensure only the right eyes are in the room. If you need to add an extra layer of security to your Deal Rooms, you can enable password protection directly from the room settings.
How to create a password for a Deal Room
Open a Deal Room and go to your Availability settings. Only the room owner can make changes to availability.
You can toggle password protection on or off.
We'll automatically generate a secure password for the room, but if you prefer you can enter your own.
You can then copy this password and share it with your stakeholders.
Some things to keep in mind
Passwords are not distributed by GetAccept: Creating a password does not share it with stakeholders. You need to share the password directly with stakeholders, for example via email, SMS or in person.
Internal users are exempt: Room collaborators and team members won’t be prompted for a password.
Passwords apply at the room level: Passwords are not individual, i.e. every participant in a room uses the same password.
Not template-supported: Password protection cannot be pre-configured in templates. You must manually enable it for each room.
Password reset behavior: Each time password protection is toggled off and on, a new password is generated.
