What are Linked Resources?

Linked Resources enable you to link frequently used content, such as sections or pages, to your Deal Room templates. By linking resources, any updates made to the resource will automatically apply across all templates using it, saving you time and ensuring consistency.

Key Things to Know:

  1. Resources Must Be Public
For a resource to be linked to a template, it needs to be marked as public in the Content Library.

  2. Sections Only
Linked Resources can only be added as sections in a template. Individual elements from existing sections cannot be linked directly.

  3. Create link for already added resources
Content resources that were added to a template before Linked resources was released will need to be removed and re-added to the template to establish the link.

How to Link a Resource

  1. Open a Deal Room Template

  2. Click Add section to add a new section.

  3. Click Browse Linkable Resources

  4. Select the resource you want to link from the available options.

  5. Once a Resource has been linked, you'll see an indicator in the table of content and colored wrapper to highlight which sections are part of the linked Resource

Managing Linked Resources in Templates

    • Edit Resource: Open the linked resource in the Content Library for direct updates.

    • Replace Resource: Replace the current linked resource with a different one.

    • Unlink Resource: Break the link and convert the content into standard editable content.

    • Remove Resource: Delete the resource from the template.
