Introduction
GetAccept’s content tags system makes it easy to organize and locate content within the Deal Room. The tagging system has two levels:
Tag Categories: Group tags into logical categories for easier navigation.
Tags: Tag individual content items to make them easier to find based on specific criteria.
This guide will walk you through setting up and using tags to streamline content organization and improve accessibility for your team.
Core Use Cases
For Content Managers: Easily locate all content for a specific case or update across multiple items.
Example: "I need to add product details for the Manufacturing segment across all templates."
For Localization Managers: View content based on language-specific tags.
Example: "I’m responsible for Danish content. I want to access all related templates and resources."
For Sales Reps: Quickly find resources tailored to a prospect’s segment and language.
Example: "I have a new case with a prospect in Tech. I want to find all relevant content in English."
Setting Up Content Tags
Step 1: Accessing Tag Management
This feature is only available in the Deal Room Settings module.
As an Admin, go to Entity Settings and open the Manage Content Tags page. Only Admins have the permission to create and manage tags, ensuring a structured and organized tagging system.
Step 2: Creating Tag Categories
Tag categories provide a top-level structure for organizing tags. Categories help users quickly identify the types of content available.
Examples of tag categories:
Process: Tags representing different deal stages (e.g. New Sales, Onboarding, Renewal).
Segment: Tags for prospect segments (e.g. Hospitality, Tech, Manufacturing).
Content Types: Tags for various content resources (e.g. Customer Cases, Product Presentations).
Language: Tags representing languages for localized content.
Tips: Start with broad categories, and add more specific ones based on user feedback. You can rename or adjust categories anytime for easier navigation.
Step 3: Creating Tags Within Categories
After creating categories, add tags under each category to represent specific content traits. For example:
Process: New Sales, Renewal
Segment: Legal, Marketing, Tech
Content Types: Company Content, Customer Cases, ROI Sections
Language: English, Danish, Spanish
Tags can be assigned to multiple content pieces to allow for flexible filtering.
Tagging Templates and Content Resources
When creating or updating a template or content resource, you can assign tags to make it easily discoverable:
Assigning Tags: In the content creation window, select the relevant tags from available categories.
Select which tag you would like to assign to the Template or Content Resource.
Once the tag is added you'll see them with your content.
Updating Tags: You can update tags for existing items directly from the Content Library table or within the content item’s settings.

Using Tags and Categories to Find Content
Filtering Content by Tags
Tags and categories provide an efficient way to filter and locate content, regardless of folder location:
Open the Filter Menu: In the Content Library, templates, or published rooms, access the filter menu.
Select Tag Categories: Choose a category, such as Content Types or Segment, to view available tags. Apply Tags: Select specific tags to filter the view to content that matches the criteria.
Example Use Case:
To find customer case studies for the Tech segment, select Customer Cases under Content Types and Tech under Prospect Segment. The system applies an AND filter, showing only items tagged with both criteria.
Filtering Content with Multiple Tags
Open the Filter Menu: Go to the Content Library or templates and open the filter.
Select Tags from Multiple Categories: Apply specific tags within categories to narrow your results.
The system applies an AND filter, showing only content that matches all selected tags. This enables users to find highly targeted resources, such as a “Customer Case for Tech in Renewal
