The goal here is to give Admins total control over the finer details of the buyer's visual journey. From ensuring text readability with contrast checkers to designing a bespoke participant lobby, these advanced tools ensure your Deal Rooms and Contracts feel like premium, custom-built environments.
Access these advanced features by navigating to Settings then Branding under the Entity Settings menu.
1. Design a Theme
While the built-in theme is a great start, creating a new theme allows for deeper visual alignment.
Advanced Gradients: Instead of a flat color, select a CSS background color and use the slider to adjust the gradient intensity or choose from pre-set variants.
High Resolution Backgrounds: Upload a background image to set the tone. For the best display quality across all devices, we recommend a resolution of 3840x2160 px.
Typography Control: Select specific fonts for your H1 and H2 font as well as your Text font to match your corporate style guide.
2. Master accessibility with the Contrast Checker
Great design must be readable. As you adjust your H1, H2, and Text colors, use the built-in accessibility tool.
Click Preview theme.
Contrast Ratio: Check the numeric evaluation of your color choices.
Compliance Ratings: Look for the AA & AAA pass marks to ensure your text is accessible for both normal and large text sizes.
Visual Rating: Aim for a four-star "Excellent contrast" rating to ensure the best buyer experience.
A great workaround for testing a complex new theme is to use the Preview theme button frequently. You can toggle between the Deal room and Documents views in the previewer to ensure your background gradients and font colors look equally professional in both environments before you hit save.
3. Customize the Participant Lobby
The lobby is the first page stakeholders see when visiting a room or contract. Customize this "front door" to create a fully branded entry.
Layout options: Choose between a single column or a two column layout.
Visuals: Customize the background color and add a specific lobby image to greet your guests.
Scope: Note that these settings apply globally to all lobbies for both Deal Rooms and Contracts.
4. Section and Block Presets
Ensure visual consistency across every page of your Deal Room by using pre-defined design presets for your content sections.
Create your presets: In the branding settings, scroll down to Section and block presets and click Add new preset.
Customize elements: Define colors for H1 / H2, Dividers, Pricing table bars, and Input fields.
Apply in the room: When editing a room, click the three dots on a section, select Section colors, and choose your preset from the dropdown menu to instantly update the style.
Changes to these branding settings are applied immediately to all active rooms and documents. However, the signing page of fully signed documents will always retain the branding that was active at the precise time of signing to preserve the document's historical integrity.
