How to buy a license (e-sign, professional, enterprise) and what different license types you can have for plan professional and enterprise.

Introduction

Our recent changes to licensing have simplified the process of assigning licenses at the user level. Whether you're on a Professional or Enterprise plan, you now have the flexibility to choose between various license types. Users can now get access to either Contract rooms, Deal rooms, or our Full suite license, offering access to both. However, if you're on the E-sign plan, you'll find that license types are not available for selection. Instead, you'll simply purchase licenses to assign to your users. Let's dive in and explore how to navigate these changes effortlessly.

How to buy a license

  1. Navigate to Manage users under your entity settings.

  2. Click on the button Add seats + up to the left

  3. Select what seat type you want (Contract room, Deal room, Full suite, read more about them further down in this guide) and add how many of each you wish to purchase by clicking in the field and adding a number, when done click on Next

  4. In the last step you will see a summary of the license(s) you've added and the total price, to finalize your purchase; select Confirm Purchase

  5. Done! You can now see the seats and add users to the bought licenses.

How to change a license type for a user

  1. Navigate to Manage users under entity settings.

  2. To edit a user, simply click on the user's name or on the three dots next to the user name and select Edit. When a new user is added this will be opened directly so you can set the license type easily when inviting someone new.

  3. In the edit user view, you can easily switch to another license type, as long as you have enough licenses added to your entity.

  4. Done!

Good to know, if you have not purchased for example a contract room license, this will not be a selectable option.

What different seat types do we have and what do they mean

Contract room

With this seat, the user will only have access to the contract room which grants access for example to:

  • Sending out documents (non-signable and signable)

  • Create/manage templates

  • Access to Archive/Contract room

  • Reports

Deal room

With this seat, the user will only have access to the deal room which grants access for example to:

  • Create/manage deal rooms

  • Create/manage deal room templates

Full suite

With this seat, the user will have full access to both the deal room and contract room which enables the user to switch freely between contract and deal room module.


E-sign plan

When you are on the E-sign plan you can only buy license to add users to them. Here we will show how that process looks like!

How to buy licenses

  1. Navigate to Manage users under your entity settings. your subscription settings

  2. Click on the button Add seats + up to the left

  3. Select how many licenses you want to purchase, see a summary of your choices to the right, and when done click on Next

  4. In the last step you will see a summary, click on Confirm purchase when you are done

  5. Done!
