How to Use the GetAccept Public API

Overview of the GetAccept Public REST API, including authentication and how to request access.

The GetAccept Public API is a REST-based interface for programmatic interaction with GetAccept. It is intended for developers who need to build custom integrations beyond pre-built connectors, for example to automate document creation and signing workflows, sync data between GetAccept and internal systems, or build custom reporting on document activity.

Access and credentials

API access is provisioned by GetAccept. To obtain credentials, request the parameter reference, or confirm whether API access is included in your plan, contact your GetAccept representative.

Authentication

The GetAccept Public API authenticates with a token or via OAuth.

Common use cases

  • Automating document workflows: create and send documents from your CRM, HRIS, or internal systems when a trigger condition is met, for example when a deal reaches a specific stage.

  • Custom integrations: connect GetAccept to proprietary or internal applications that do not have a pre-built connector.

  • Reporting: retrieve document engagement and signing data to feed your business intelligence stack.

Pro-tip: If a pre-built connector already exists for the tool you want to integrate with, it is usually faster than building against the API directly. See Integrations settings for the supported integrations.

Getting started

Contact your GetAccept representative to provision API access and to request the current parameter reference. Your representative will also confirm any plan, rate, or scope considerations that apply to your entity.
