The Google Meet integration lets you import meeting transcripts from Google Meet directly into a Deal Room, so all your meeting context, AI summaries, and next steps live alongside your deal content. This article explains how to connect GetAccept to Google Meet and import transcripts into your Deal Rooms.
Connect Google Meet to GetAccept
Connecting GetAccept to Google Meet is done per user. That means that admins cannot enable Google Meet access globally - Each user must authenticate their own Google account.
Go to your Integrations settings.
Connect Google Meet.
Authenticate with your Google account to grant GetAccept access.
Note: Each user on your team needs to repeat this connection step with their own Google account. Admins cannot grant access on behalf of other users.
Import a Google Meet transcript into a Deal Room
Once your Google account is connected, you can pull transcripts from Google Meet straight into the Meetings tab of any Deal Room where Meetings is enabled.
Open the Deal Room and go to the Meetings tab.
Choose Add meeting from Google Meet.
Select the meeting you want to import. You can search by title to find it faster.
GetAccept fetches the transcript and adds it to the Deal Room.
The integration first fetches your calendar, then filters out calendar events that don't have a Google Meet link, as well as recurring events. When you select a meeting, GetAccept tries to fetch its transcript. If the meeting doesn't have a transcript available, you'll see an error message letting you know.
AI summaries and next steps
As soon as a transcript is imported, GetAccept AI generates a summary and next steps based on the conversation. You can refine summaries using prompts, including your saved meeting prompt templates, exactly as you would with any other meeting integration.
The transcript also feeds into Smart Content, so executive summaries, business cases, and other AI-generated sales content are grounded in what was actually said in your meeting.
Pro-tip: Importing your meeting transcripts before generating Smart Content gives the AI richer context, leading to more accurate and relevant output.
Limitations
Only transcripts can be imported from Google Meet. Recordings are not supported. You can still download your recording from Google Meet and upload it manually in Meetings.
Participant details from Google Meet are not pulled into the meeting.
Google Meet access is granted per user. Each user must authenticate their own Google account; admins cannot enable access globally.
The integration excludes calendar events that don't have a Google Meet link, as well as recurring events.
If a selected meeting has no transcript, GetAccept will show an error message instead of importing it.
