How to setup your default for being notified about document activity

This default setting can only be edited by an admin. The settings will affect all users on the entity if nothing else is stated.

How to navigate to your notification settings

  1. Click on your profile image up to the right

  2. Select Settings

  3. Under Document settings -> Click on Notifications

  4. Here you can set what notifications you want to be sent to the sender of a document

Please note!

"Send notifications by email" must always be active, otherwise, we will not send any notifications out to the sender

What notifications you can activate

Please note! This needs to be enabled in order for notifications to be sent out)

  • If this is enabled, reminders will be sent automatically, for all documents based on the conditions below:

Document is reviewed

  • When the recipient(s) have read the whole document.

Document is signed

  • When the document has been fully signed

The document could not be delivered

  • When the document could not be delivered to the recipient(s) by email

Document was printed

  • When the document has been printed by the recipient(s)

Document attachment is opened

  • When a recipient has opened an attachment

Document is viewed

  • When a recipient has opened and viewed the document but have not read the whole document

Document is commented

  • When a comment has been made in the chat by the recipient(s)

Document is rejected

  • When a recipient has rejected the document

    Please note! If a signer rejects the document but then wants to sign it, a new version has to be created and sent out again to enable signing.

Document was downloaded

  • When the document has been downloaded by the recipient(s)

Document has expired

  • When the document has expired. Here is a guide on how to prolong the expiration date.

Document was forwarded

  • When a recipient has forwarded the document to someone else.
