Template selection based on Pipedrive or Upsales data

Use our conditional set up in Pipedrive or Upsales to select or suggest GetAccept templates based on what's happening in your CRM

Updated yesterday

Introduction

As customers use our GetAccept integration more and more, it can raise challenges around template management for users:

  • What template should I use for a particular scenario

  • What templates should I not use

  • Where can I find the template

  • How can I get the information about all these templates that exist

Using the Conditional Setup feature allows an admin or manager to set rules as to when certain templates can and should be used. Remove the need to update your teams regarding your constantly growing content and let them focus on selling.

Use Cases

This tool is here to help you map your process, so can vary greatly how its used from company to company. But here are some examples of how it could be used. Here are a few examples:

  1. If your users are sending from the Deal object, then consider setting up the conditions so that different templates are available for different Stages of the Deal.

  2. Check what products have been added to a Deal. Maybe Deals with subscription products should use one template, and service products use another.

  3. Maybe different teams or users should have different templates provided to them for different scenarios.

  4. A combination of the above.

Create a new Conditional Setup profile in the GetAccept Chrome Extension for Pipedrive & Upsales Integration

  1. a Open the GetAccept chrome extension on a Pipedrive or Upsales object where GetAccept is set up (e.g. Opportunity).

  2. Select Advanced Settings from the drop down.

  3. From the new tab, select "Conditional Setup" from the menu.

  4. Click Add new conditional setup profile.

  5. Set a Profile name and select the Dynamics sending object for the profile (e.g. Account).

    1. Note: If you would like to select a different Dynamics object, change the entity to configure from the drop down.

  6. Create your first condition.

    1. Select Pipedrive or Upsales Object where desired condition property is found. Can be the same as the sending object or a related object to it.

    2. Select Pipedrive or Upsales object property. E.g. Deal Stage

    3. Select Operator.

    4. Select Property Value.

  7. Optional: Click Add Property Conditions if you would like to add additional Dynamics properties for the Dynamics object selected in 6a.

  8. Optional: Click Add a new condition group if you would like to have other conditions based on Dynamics properties from different objects than used in Step 6.

    1. Additional condition groups would operate with And logic, so all conditions must apply for desired output.

  9. Select one of two outcomes based on configured conditions

    1. Click Select Template to suggest or filter Deal Room or contract templates

    2. Click Add Sub Case to create nested logic for more complex use cases. Logic for this is the same as in step 6.

  10. When you've clicked Select Template, you may then select either the option to Filter or Suggest GetAccept templates.

    1. Filter will show only those GetAccept Templates selected

    2. Suggest will show the suggested template at the top of the integration when creating a deal room or contract.

  11. Select desired templates for Deal Room and Contracts.

    1. Note: If no templates are selected for the filter option for Deal Room or Contracts, those options will be hidden in the integration when the applied conditions exist.

  12. Click Save.

  13. Test the scenario configured.
